Last Wednesday (Nov/12) we had the Campus Fair at University of the Nations. Students came to the Natural Farm and took part on a short presentation explaining what we do here and inviting them to a tour on Saturday. Thema Black, our shephered, brought one of our newborn sheep for them to see and everyone was really excited!
A big thank you to everyone who helped make that event a total success! You are awesome!
Last weekend our students went out on a field trip to the Mauna Loa volcano. Mauna Loa is one of the 5 volcanos in Hawaii and it is considered the largest on Earth. Our students walked on the area that was coverd by lava and inside a tube formed on its eruption in 1974.
They also went cliff jumping at South Point and hiking to Green Sand Beach. It was a precious time of fellowship and a great opportunity to learn more about God’s creation. A special thank you to Don Rogers and his wife Heather who organized the trip, David Bustin for driving and our friend and guide Eric Hubner.
